Just book the trip! It is so much fun
I was a little nervous to leave the resort but this trip was amazing! (It was so fun that I am looking up what trip we can do on Sunday.)You stop at 4 places: Tulum Mayan ruins, Cenote swimming/lunch, Coba Mayan ruins, & Downtown Playa Del Carmen. You get to see history, shop, & even buy a sweet treat downtown if you like! There are bathrooms everywhere you go. There is AC on a really nice charter bus. Gustavo was our bi-lingual guide. He was amazing & cheerful all day. He told us history about the Mayan places we went to and he was very knowledgeable. I loved the second half of the trip (to Coba & Downtown Playa del Carmen) because of how relaxing it was. For future travelers: 1. Wear comfortable shoes for walking (because there is a lot of it).2. It is HOT! Wear sunblock/sun screen, a hat, & even bug spray if you don’t like mosquitoes/ants.3. Bring pocket change for tips, all-day drinks service ($15 USD), mandatory life jackets for swimming ($3 USD), & bike rentals if you do not want to walk to certain ruins ($6-12 USD). The prices could change but, this is what they were for our trip July 2022.4. If you don’t like outdoors/heat nor walking, then this would not be the trip for you. But if you are up for the challenge, then you will LOVE this trip. You get to cool down in-between stops on the bus which was fun. Please note: It is an all-day trip. We were picked up from our resort at 8:30AM & returned to our resort by 8PM.
